I had a cabling job recently and chose to go with Cat6. I needed plenum because I was running cable in ceilings, and I knew that I didn’t want CCA because of its subpar quality. This is definitely not CCA, but solid copper. I didn’t know this brand of cab. I didn’t know this brand of cable but it had good reviews, so I bought it. It was a bit steep at nearly $300, but I needed the cable quickly. It arrived quickly, and I used all but 26 feet. No issues at *all*. I even had to pull a run through an existing metal conduit that had a 90-degree bend. No problems and no loss in data transmission speed. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this brand again.
DSMreviews –
We’ll be looking to purchase more soon for our next project and we highly recommend this cable and this company!

The title says “Solid” to mislead you that this is solid copper – it is NOT.
tyrone miller –
CAT6 Plenum Cable 1000ft is a reliable and high-performance option for anyone needing plenum-rated cabling for networking. Its solid copper construction ensures long-term durability and performance, making it a good investment for both residential and commercial installations where safety and high-speed connectivity are priorities. The higher cost is justified by its safety features and robust performance.
Anthony D. –
Buyer beware- this is not Solid Copper Wire. This is CCA Copper Clad Aluminum wire. I grabbed a sample from the tail of the wire, and put it under my microscope to check it out. At 300X magification we can see that the intter core of this material is not the same color or material as the outside.
Michael Ruskey –
Very cheap price. No problems with 12 runs tested so far. If you are using in own home or doing few runs it is more then adequate. However if you are an installer or doing many runs you will be aggravated. The sheathing is cheaper thus harder. It does not lay flat when pulling around corners and needing to pull excess line onto floor. Pulls pretty good straight out of box, but as I said with the more ridged sheathing it will need a bit more pulling power then usually necessary with high quality cables. Will update if necessary after 4 boxes are gone.

No snag. No wire issues. solid copper. GOOD STUFF. Pricey but you get what you pay for!
Wilfred F. –
Kinks way to easy out of box. Do not like the plastic core but now I understand why its there, to keep the cheap wire from breaking.
Kseniia –
Cat6 plenum 1000ft is an excellent product. The cable is high-quality, durable, and perfect for long runs. It delivers fast and reliable performance, which is exactly what I needed for my home network setup. It’s easy to work with.
Amazon Customer –
This cable is pretty good with a reasonable price, don’t go for a cheap one.
Preston Pollock –
Pulls and punches down great. Data transfer is good
s mill –
Great quality cable. Boxes in good shape. Excellent price. Would buy this again, no question.
SlyTek –
Excellent quality pure copper cable. Used 500ft already from their 1000ft box, no problems at all.
Alex the shopper from Miami –
Top notch cables! I instantly loved them and used he whole roll installing multiple runs in a 1500 SQ ft office
Hassan Yomi Asekoya –
Comes in an easy package with easy to roll spindles

8’ into the first of 3 boxes and I am stuck. Even tried to undo the mess.. horrible that I’m at a job site and can’t imagine telling a client ‘hey, can’t do this today bc the wire is tangled inside the box’
Iss66 –
As expected.
Darren Eide –
This product was Solid Copper as describe and all data tests on each cable passed with no problems. Whatever you do make sure you purchase solid copper cable otherwise you will regret it. In the past I purchased copper clad aluminum (CCA) Cable for a 16 Channel NVR Video Surveillance System and had nothing but problems with most security cameras. To resolve the problem I had to install new solid copper plenum cable to each camera. To eliminate the frustration purchase quality cable to begin with, so you will save time and MONEY!!

Wired 9000 sq ft bldg. Used 13 boxes
Falcon –
Exactly as described. No issues.
jubjub –
Pulled easily, terminated well and data passes through as expected.
JW Trucking & Excavating –
This cable is copper clad aluminum NOT solid copper. For the lay people, aluminum gets hotter and is not brittle, subjecting your cable runs to serious crosstalk, interference, potential snapping inside the jacket, potential FIRE and serious data speed transmission Losses
Brian DuBridge –
Worst cable I’ve ever had the displeasure of working with. On the job trying to terminate it with two piece RJ45s and after ruining 6 or 7 on one end, had to go with a surface mount box and a pre made patch cable. Fingers still hurt from trying to get the 8 wires into the inner piece of the two piece. I’ve done this sort of thing hundreds and hundreds of times and never had this problem. It was easier terminating the much stiffer Cat6a cable than this. Stay away from this. Utter crap.
Ryan M. –
Quality cable. Had a couple kinks in about 1500′ of cable but otherwise no issues. The box is flimsy but the reel inside pulls nicely. Has the + separator between pairs which is nice as well. Used for a 4k camera system install and will use again if the price stays reasonable.
Chris K. –
100% CCA and will not cert in any of my Fluke Certifiers. I can not tell you enough to not use this at all. but if you try and use cca for POE you will have problems and hazards. I own an IT company and have for 15 years and can tell you that to use CCA is DANGEROUS and is not worth the risk.
Amazon Customer –
Good quality at a good price.
jsjsh –
High quality cable at a good price. Pulled effortlessly out of the box!

I have used nearly 10 boxes of this wire. I have not terminated any of them yet, so still no opinion on the quality of the wire.
John W. –
Good quality, box pulls smoothly. I’ve only pulled a few runs so far with it, but would purchase again.

Perfect great quality

Its what I ordered but I haven’t even opened the box it came in. O bought the same threek weeks ago and have used almost all of it. I was pleased with it and the data people tying it into their system were very pleased

Excellent!
Barbara Sullivan King –
the CAT6 Cables Plenum Cable 1000ft for a large networking project, and I couldn’t be more satisfied. The build quality is excellent, with solid 23AWG conductors that ensure stable and reliable connections. The bandwidth is more than sufficient for our high-speed data requirements, and the cable has consistently delivered top-notch performance.
FoleyPLEX –
perfect
Manousos Vasilakis –
Excellent price for CAT6e plenum. I would give 5 stars, but the cable snagged on the cable feeder inside of the box ever 2′ until I opened the box and modified the plastic feeder.
Davud Hruska –
Works perfectly. Really enjoy the sequential numbering on the cable.
K –
This is not CAT 6 cable. CCA does not meet the spec for CAT 6 and is unsafe for POE applications.
Matt –
Great CMP Cable. Solid cable and good for in-wall and drop ceiling runs.
daisy lani –
good quality cable, easy to work with.
Phil –
This cable pulls out of the box nice. Terminates great with no failures pure copper all around great cable!
James L. Kidwell –
Good selection
Rose Gul –
Good quality cable.
Vlad –
Pulls good, cable is strong, and solid copper wires. Very high quality. I would not recommend using this for patch cords however because the solid copper makes it more stiff.
Sofia –
Decent cable. Not pure copper but it’s cheap for a reason. Brittle jacket too much pressure and you may slice through the aluminum.
Shadi Gendi –
I recently used this cable for a customer, its really great quality. I have used cheaper cat6 boxes and its a royal pain to terminate them; this box is great and I will buy more in future from this company.
Rosybell Morel –
Forget your tangled mess of cat5e! If you’re serious about boosting your office’s network game, Monk Cables’ Cat6 is the game-changer you’ve been waiting for. Here’s why I’m singing their praises from the rooftops:
MissLarsen –
Great value for the money. No complaints here. We used this in place of Cat 5e cables which came with our 4K NVR Home security system. We were able to use the lengths we needed per camera and also replaced older Cat 5e cables around the house.
Lee Ellen Naramore –
We are a commercial Voice and Data company. I always am skeptical with the lower price cable, but in-turn, we are always trying to keep our bids low. I was very happy with the price and cable on this order. We had no problem with tangles, that we get on some of the less expensive cable. The Cat6/Plenum has a very thick insulation, as many do. I would definitely order again.
JW91 –
I have chosen this cable for most of the runs in my home network upgrade. The cable performs excellently and is easy to work with. It is slightly thicker than Cat 5e but just as manageable. I have some Cat 6a for specific areas; it is much more difficult to work with than this Cat 6 cable. Additionally, this cable is plenum-rated, which is a plus. Previously, I relied on Wi-Fi for everything, but after installing this cable, I’ve noticed much more stable connections on the newly wired devices. This cable is an excellent choice for future-proofing a home network upgrade.
BILL –
I really like the item and the item is packaged well, the instructions for use are also very easy, really recommend this item
MICHAEL M BERRY –
This cable was used to run a professional cabling job and all of the cables passed with a Fluke tester up to 10GBase10 speeds. Was able to hand it over to the customer with certified results, no cross-talk, no issues. Boxes feed very well as well. I’ve purchased probably 40 of these boxes and they allow me to keep my bids low to the customer. I don’t see any reason to purchase expensive commscope cable when this is available for 1/4th the cost.
Dfd –
I’ve burned through a couple boxes of this cable at this point and have had pretty good luck so far. The pull box works well and I have had very few issues with the cable getting caught when being pulled. As far as pulling the cable, it is relatively strong. I recently pulled several runs through a tight attic with older cabling and had no issues related to putting a little pressure behind it when pulling.
Serhii Marchuk –
Ordered for work and just received it. Looks pretty solid and reliable. Exactly what I need to provide quality services
Sir. Patschington –
Easy to pull, no knicks or knots so far. Ends go on and crimp easy, use the Klein pass through ends and crimp tool. No lag or broke wires in connection.
Rebecca –
I was impressed with the speed and stability of my internet connection after installing this cable. The Cat6 Plenum 1000ft has helped me achieve faster data transfer rates, reduced latency and fewer network interruptions. I appreciate that TSCables uses high-quality materials and employs strict quality control measures to ensure that each cable is up to the highest standards.
Jarrod M. –
Got tired of exessive long or too short cables. Just started to make my own custom to length. Great to keep handy for that off-chance you need to make a really long ethernet cable. The quality of the cable was great and the speedtests came through phenomenal
amber compton –
My old cord at work kept losing internet because the cord was damaged. So I got this to run and it was super easy to install, the blue is a nice color. Also the price I could not beat
Gus –
These things are the real deal! I’m set for cables for the rest of my life, as they’re just for my home needs. I may need to rewire my attic line, so I’ll use this wire for that. I have a bad wire somewhere that has cut my speeds in half, but that will be a project, so we’ll see when I do that. Overall, no speed issues. Great buy.
Mark in Denver –
Good price for the value. The product description matches what you get. I needed cat6 for cctv poe cameras and it is working out well.
Nadzeya Khakhlova –
This Cat6 Plenum cable arrived quickly with no wear and tear on the box. It was shipped without an additional box which I appreciate, the cable box itself is strong enough! The cable pulls very easily out of the box – no kinks or bends of any kind so far. I ordered this cable for a couple runs in a basic home install and one thing I really appreciated is the running length count on the cable. This made it so I didn’t have to measure beyond just noting down where I cut it last and checking the number as I pulled it out.
Tony Hoang –
If there’s one thing I’ve learned from setting up multiple networks, it’s that the quality of your cables matters—a lot. The MONK Cables CAT6 Plenum Cable has been a game-changer for me when it comes to achieving reliable high-speed connections. Whether I’m working on a home setup or handling a more complex commercial project, this cable delivers every time.
Cristena Johnson –
I experienced stable high speed internet with this cable, the cable is sturdy and well constructed, it meets and exceeds my expectations for home and office environments, it has a very impressive bandwidth capacity for high speed data transfers!
Haokun Lin –
My house need to wire the cat 6 cable for gaming, streaming. This is the perfect cable I brought and it perform well on quality!!! Really like this cable and I can finally enjoy my gaming without lagging!!
JOHN S –
This cable arrived quickly with no damage to the box. It ships without an extra box which I appreciate, the cable box itself is quite sturdy! The cable pulls out of the box very easily – no kinks or bends whatsoever so far.
Trevor Jacques –
I finally started wiring a friend’s home and found this to be a very good cable. It works great. I also made some patch cables that are a little stiffer considering it is designed for in-wall wiring, but it works great. Would buy again.
Rafter –
The cable provides a fast and stable connection with a rugged construction, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking to build a strong, high-speed network, and I would recommend this cable to anyone needing to transmit over long distances.
Melinda –
The fire-retardant and weather-proof jacket of this cable ensures safety in plenum air spaces. Peace of mind guaranteed!
Fume –
Product was processed and delivered very quickly. Everything looked great and intact, this was very nice to work with. Very flexible and easy to pull through the attic.
Jarrod –
I used this for a recent install where PoE devices were used and it didn’t let me down. The cable was relatively snag free and easily manageable even with a few complicated long runs through tight spaces.
