A cable can look perfect and still fail when real data starts moving. The only way to know for sure is to test it. Fluke Networks makes the cable testers that installers around the world trust most. When a cable passes a Fluke certification test, it has proven it can carry its rated speed.

TS Cables offers Fluke-tested and certified cables for projects that can't afford a weak link. You get cabling with test-backed performance, so your network runs at full speed from day one.

Who Is Fluke Networks?

Fluke Networks is a leading maker of network testing tools. Its cable certifiers are a familiar sight on commercial job sites, in data centers, and in telecom rooms. Many cabling manufacturers ask for Fluke test reports before they approve an installation warranty. Our post on the Fluke test for copper cable shows how a test runs.

The company's DSX CableAnalyzer series is one of the best-known tools in the trade. It checks copper cabling against TIA and ISO standards in seconds. The same Versiv platform can also test fiber with add-on modules. Results are saved in LinkWare software, which turns them into clean reports for clients and inspectors.

Testing vs. Certification

These two words often get mixed up, but they mean different things.

Verification and Qualification

Basic testers check that the wires connect in the right order. More advanced qualification testers show if a link can support a certain speed, such as gigabit Ethernet. These tools work well for troubleshooting and quick checks. Our guides to Ethernet cable testers and the best network cable tester compare popular models.

Full Certification

Certification is the highest level of cable certification testing. A certifier measures a long list of performance values. It compares each one to the limits set for that cable category. The result is a clear pass or fail. Only a certified link can prove it meets Cat6 or Cat6a performance on paper.

What a Fluke Certification Test Checks

A full certification test runs dozens of measurements at once. Some of the most important include:

  • Wiremap: verifies all eight wires will connect to the proper pin.
  • Length: ensures that the run remains within the channel limit of 100 m.
  • Insertion loss: indicates the loss of the signal through the cable.
  • NEXT and PS NEXT: indicate crosstalk, or noise that passes between wire pairs.
  • Return loss: measures the amount of signal reflected back to the source.
  • Delay skew: the difference in the speed of signals on each pair.

If any value falls outside its limit, the link fails. The installer then knows exactly where to look.

Why Fluke Certified Cables Matter

Cheap cable can hide serious flaws. Thin conductors, copper-clad aluminum, and loose twists often pass a quick wiremap check. They fail when a certifier measures the real performance. By then, the cable is already inside the walls.

Starting with Fluke-tested cable lowers that risk. It gives installers a product with a track record of passing certification. Projects close faster because fewer links need to be pulled and replaced. Clients get printed proof that their network meets the category they paid for. Many manufacturer warranties of 15 years or more depend on these reports.

Fluke Tested Cables at TS Cables

At Turnstone Cables, we know that a failed test can wreck a schedule. Our Fluke-tested and certified collection gives you cabling built to pass. Product pages list the category rating, conductor type, and jacket rating, so matching cable to your spec takes only a minute. Pure copper Cat6 construction helps keep insertion loss low and results clean.

Install With Proof, Not Hope

A network should prove its speed, not just promise it. Fluke-tested and certified cables from TS Cables give you confidence before the first jack is punched down. Browse the collection today or contact our team, and build a network that passes the test every time.
